I started going to Scotland in the Winter with my regular Winter and Alpine climbing partner in 2000.

Both my Winter and Alpine climbing was fairly limited, but if I had not had the accident than I would have done more, probably more serious routes. At this time trying to do harder and harder things in climbing generally, not just in the cold!
